Woking Rotaract

PRESS RELEASE: Woking Rotaract Club seeks charities to receive donations

Woking Rotaract is a social club which also helps the local community and raises money for Charity. The club has recently raised funds which it would like to donate to one or more registered charities, preferably with a local bias, and is also looking for causes for which its future events can be held in support of.

Rotaract is a club open to anyone between the ages of 18-30 who want to make new friends, participate in a variety of activities and sports events, and try to raise money for charity along the way.

Woking Rotaract has donated over £4,000 to various local charities in the past four years. Most recently we donated £250 to North-West Surrey Victim Support, as reported in the Woking Review (29/01/2004). → Read more

Registered charities should e-mail charity@woking-rotaract.org.uk to nominate themselves. The successful charities would be asked to attend a Rotaract club meeting to present their work to the members and receive the donation.
